Project/Task Sr. Manager (Information Technology)

Our work depends on Project/Task Sr. Manager to plan and manage various customer facing IT Projects. The Project Manager will facilitate, manage, and execute project activities from large or complex tasks that may include enterprise systems integration, data maintenance and migration, and other analysis of projects. The IT Project Manager will be client-facing and required to deliver projects on time and within budget. Projects will vary in scope and size depending on the nature of the requirement.
A Project/Task Sr. Manager provides innovative methods and technical solutions using the project lifecycle process. Additionally, the IT Project Manager will work closely with the Program's Project Portfolio Manager and government client to develop project estimates (schedules, cost estimates, materials, services, etc.) to meet the client's requirement
How a Project/Task Sr. Manager (Information Technology) will make an impact
A range of projects may be assigned at a time which may include coordination with various engineering teams, vendors, customers and other non GDIT contract personnel. Design and develop project baseline schedules, support implementing and maintaining integrated master schedule (IMS) and work breakdown structures (WBS). Monitoring and maintaining status schedule progress. Working closely and effectively communicate with staff members and the client to ensure efficient and accurate schedule developments and updates. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned Provides technical, administrative, and operational management to assigned projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting May perform high level technical services on assigned task(s) Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload Manages risk tracking process Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff and stakeholders Coordinates development of deliverables and products Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables What You'll Need To Succeed:
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Information Technology related field or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience. Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience Security Clearance Level: Secret - required / Top Secret/SCI - preferred Certification Requirements: Project Management Professional (PMP) - Required Location: On Customer Site US Citizenship Required Gdit Is Your Place:

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
