Job Overview
The IT Project Manager will support the Enterprise Project Management Branch. The IT Project Manager will be responsible for executing the IT Project Management Framework for multiple projects and coordinating with stakeholders and with the various court working groups. The IT Project Manager will be required to provide program and project oversight and management and will be required to lead and provide guidance in areas throughout the entire software cycle in a customer-focused environment where high-quality deliverables must be met on time and operations are considered critical.
Job Responsibilities • Develop standard guidelines, processes, policies, and procedures for program and project management in an agile environment (i.e., managing cost, time, resource, scope, risk, stakeholder, etc.). This includes working with Product Owners and stakeholders to develop the product vision and roadmaps. • Continually improve the IT Program and Project Management using the ITPM Framework, the agile program, leadership, individual and group training, and processes. • Explore and implement a variety of best practices and standardized processes to ensure operational efficiency and scalability. • Facilitate the development and implementation of detailed reports to keep key stakeholders up to date on progress, issues, and outcomes. • Lead, manage, and facilitate concurrent projects, while remaining flexible with changing priorities, timeframes, and scope of services • Escalate issues and concerns to the EPMB management team promptly. • Strategically and tactfully determine resolutions to issues as they arise without direction. • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. • Manages risks and mitigations accordingly. • Conduct gate reviews as required by our IT PM Framework. • Design, developed, and implemented Project Management dashboard ingesting data from disparate data sources from Power BI or other 3rd party dashboard reports. • Develop one-page snapshot of project schedule/task status utilizing ad hoc filterable Gantt milestone views and OneDrive dynamic link. • Utilized automated workflow to promote approved schedule/task changes to new view. • Conduct monthly / quarterly Project Management Reviews (PMRs) with IT Management Boards. • Develop and socialize RACI charts and SMART goals to guide distributed teams. • Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders. • Coaches, mentors, and encourages project team members to act and be accountable for their assigned work. • Other duties as required.
Requirements/Qualifications: • A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT, at least 3 years in IT Project Management • Program management experience leading multiple IT Projects is preferred. • Proven track record of delivering software solutions on time and within budget. • Demonstrated experience providing extensive knowledge in project management, program, and portfolio management. • Demonstrated experience making recommendations to support process improvements. • Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills and be able to convey technical concepts to non-technical individuals. • Must be self-motivated with the ability to manage, prioritize multiple tasks, and identify and recommend areas for improvement. • Must have experience mentoring team members to foster growth and maturity. • Proven experience with collaboration and building coalitions internal and external to the organization. • Experience with project management, process improvement, written and oral communication, client engagement, and dashboard reporting using 3rd party tools. • Strong information monitoring and analysis comprehension of business metrics. • Experience in 'service delivery' and multicultural environment. • Experience with implementation of Agile techniques and SCRUM. • Experience with leadership of Software development teams. • Experience working in an agile IT organization and experience with JIRA. • Experienced at working remotely.
Desired Skills/Qualifications • Project Management Institute (PMI) - Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). • Scrum Alliance - Certified ScrumMaster. • Project Management Institute (PMI) - Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) • Technical project manager with proven track record developing and executing organizational and technology initiatives. • Experience performing program and project duties in an agile environment and familiarity with the agile Framework and scrum master role.
Education • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience in computer science, management information systems, or a related field
