Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.

We are looking for software engineers that can help us drive transformation in our key area of Enterprise Cost Management .

The technology we use is modern open source that enables you the ability to innovate, drive value, and contribute to the full-stack of development. You will be part of an engineering team that is driven by product thinking and focused on delivering key outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Software engineer, you will contribute to all phases of product life cycle and write efficient code that conforms to architectural standards. Develop unit, integration, and regression test cases for the product. Collaborate with cross functional teams to troubleshoot issues and bug fixes. Enhance the product and automated tests to prevent re-occurrence of defects. Document processes and knowledge specific to the assigned product.

Building UI using modern front-end technologies such as react JS, Node JS. And Redux Toolkits

Ability to test your application using state of the art tech like MSWjs, cypress, jest and many more open source-based tech stack

Leveraging micro-frontend principles to build robust UI experiences for internal and external end-users

Building microservices using modern, cloud native technologies such as Java 8, Kotlin, Spring boot, Reactor, Kafka

Building on a platform which is authored on open source platform of Kubernetes and comes with inbuilt metrics tracking capability powered by prometheus, grafana and log mining by ELK stack

Ideate, build and publish reusable libraries to improve productivity across teams

Utilizing DevOps, CI/CD and build tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gradle, Spinnaker, JFrog etc

Working with testing frameworks such as JUnit, mockito, cucumber etc

Using cloud platforms such as GCP/AWS

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

2 years of experience in software development or a related field \

2 years of experience in database technologies

1 year of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field

2 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization

4 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software

4 years of experience with technical documentation in a software development environment

2 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

2 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports

Experience with application and integration middleware

Experience with database technologies

Pay Range: $75,300.00 - $143,100.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
