MODEL BASED SYSTEM ENGINEER - LEVEL III
Typical Education:
Master's Degree in engineering, operations research, or other sciences where the utilization of advanced math skills is required (e.g. business, mathematics, statistics, and probability)
Typical Experience:
10 years of professional experience performing Model Based Systems Engineering
Additional Guidelines:
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles
• Knowledge of the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) • Experience with cross-platform collaborative MBSE/digital environments or equivalent (e.g., MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx System Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, System Architect, etc.), which provide tools to design, track, visualize, and analyze all aspects of systems in standard-compliant models and diagrams.
• Knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF)
Role:
Trinity IT is seeking a Model Based System Engineer (MBSE) - Level III to support our UX/UI Design and Engineering project with the U.S. Navy. The candidate must be familiar with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF).
This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Key Responsibilities: Develop concept of operations (CONOPS) and high-level solution plans aligned with define Solution Epics. Define the system domain and develop system models using model-based engineering (UML and SysML). Provide mission analysis to support definition of technical requirements and interfaces, provide analysis of alternatives, guide development, and evaluate expected performance against requirements and mission needs Evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all functional and program interfaces Apply model-based system engineering (MBSE) to develop architectural views using DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM) and Systems Modeling Language (SysML) Required Qualifications:

Experience with cross-platform collaborative MBSE/digital environments or equivalent (e.g., MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx System Enterprise Architect, Rational Rhapsody, System Architect, etc.), which provide tools to design, track, visualize, and analyze all aspects of systems in standard-compliant models and diagrams). Knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF). Active Dept. of Defense Secret Clearance. Preferred Qualifications:
Active Dept. of Defense Top Secret Clearance.
