Our client, a midsize commercial bank in New York City is seeking a highly experienced HR Business Partner to join their dynamic team. This individual with have specialized expertise in talent management and learning practices and will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with their organizational goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, taking initiative, and delivering successful Human Resources processes.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that drive business objectives Provide expert guidance on talent acquisition, workforce planning, and organizational development Oversee the end-to-end talent management process, including talent identification, succession planning, and performance management Design and implement initiatives to attract, develop, and retain top talent within the organization Oversee planning and design of management and leadership programming Lead the development and execution of comprehensive learning programs to enhance employee skills and competencies Stay abreast of industry trends to ensure our learning practices remain cutting-edge and effective Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, resolving complex HR issues and fostering a positive workplace culture Conduct regular assessments to gauge employee satisfaction and engagement, implementing strategies to address areas for improvement Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Implement policies and procedures to maintain a fair and ethical working environment Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on talent management and learning practices Strong understanding of the financial services industry, especially within the banking sector Demonstrated success in leading HR initiatives and driving organizational change Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
