Co-Op - Industrial Engineer
Job Description Summary In the role of College Co- Op - I.E., student will aid plant industrial engineers with basic I.E. functions such as plant layouts, job instruction updates, and lean manufacturing implementation.
Job Description * Create / modify operator Job Instructions in MS Word documents.Work with operators and engineers to document operations. * Assist with OEE data collection. Helps to identify loss areas and opportunities for improvement. * Conduct time studies, and cycle time checks. * Conduct delay studies to loss areas and opportunities for improvement. * Assist Manufacturing with implementation of lean concepts in manufacturing and assembly department. * Assist with work area equipment layouts and machine verifications. * Assists Manufacturing in other project activities, as required. * Assist with the implementation of methods improvements. * Savings realized for $150,000 per year Required Skills and Education Candidates must be enrolled as a full-time student from an accredited college or university (12 or more credit hours). Graduation of December 2025 or later. Minimum of 3.0 GPA. Must be available to work at least 25 hours per week during school periods or ability to work in a rotational plan. Eligible to work in U.S. without sponsorship.
