A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Toxic Tort Associate Attorney to join its asbestos practice group. The role involves managing complex litigation matters related to toxic tort and environmental liability. Location Duties Independently manage a litigation caseload, handling both local and national accounts across California. Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for depositions and trial. Review and analyze discovery requests and responses. Prepare and respond to discovery and pleadings. Prepare court filings and service to counsel, including e-filing experience. Provide trial preparation and support. Maintain accurate and timely time records. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex litigation, toxic tort liability, or environmental liability. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active bar membership in California. Experience with motion practice and taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Superior research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active bar membership in California. Skills Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities. Experience with motion practice and depositions.
