Pay: $22.86 - $24.24 / hour (total)
($22.11 / hour + $0.75 / hour shift differential)

Role: Powder Coat Painter (2nd Shift)
You may see yourself in this role, if you are an experienced painter who has a strong work ethic, two years prior manufacturing experience, and are looking for a serious career opportunity.
You will perform a range of tasks in the powder coat painting of a transformer tank:
- Perform powder coat painting in both automatic and manual sections of the paint system. Check humidity and temperature in the environmental room and assure enough storage of paint in the environmental room.
- Set and adjust atomizing, flow rate, correct voltage, feed hopper and powder pumps at the control consoles for both manual and automatic system.
- Keep system clean to insure efficiency and maximum safety.
- Load and unload parts on and off conveyor, start and set-up conveyor as required.
- Clean and replenish tanks with chemicals.

Requirements
Basic:
- Prior experience operating machinery.
- Able to work over-time as needed.
- Occasionally lifting objects weighing over 60 pounds, moving steel, pallets, etc.
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend common vocabulary.
- Must be able to calculate basic math, including fractions, decimals and percentages.
- Must be able to read, interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, plans, layouts and/or templates.
- Resides within a reasonable commuting distance of Washington MO.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis; visa sponsorship is not available for these positions.
- Successful candidate will complete: talent assessment, interview, drug screen and background check.
- Safety Sensitive Position: drug screen includes THC.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years of prior manufacturing experience
