Field Welder/Pipe and Mechanical Installer

We are seeking experienced Pipe and Mechanical Installer/Welder to join our team. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce quality results. The Pipe and Mechanical Installer installs and services underground, exposed, interior pipe and treatment plant equipment on commercial and/or heavy construction sites. Ideal candidates adhere to company safety standards and take pride in their work.Responsibilities:Layout and install underground pipe and manholesLayout and install interior process piping (flange and/or welded)Pipe testingInstall pumps, valves, flow meters and other pipeline itemsInstalls treatment plan equipmentSet lines, grades, and elevationsRigging and signaling (crane/excavator communications)Read and interpret blueprintsAssist with earthwork related items for trenching, excavating, earth retention and dewatering systemsMaintain accurate as-built drawings for record of underground pipe installationsPerform other construction duties as neededKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Physical Requirements:Safety knowledge and skillsKnowledge of pipelaying and plumbingGood mechanical skillsBlueprint readingOperate transit & laser levelProper use and maintenance of hand toolsWelding (beneficial)Crane/excavator signalingAbility to work in confined spacesAbility to climb and work up to 30' heightsMinimum Qualifications Required at time of Application:Three years trade related experience or apprentice program graduate or other equivalent education experience. Ability to occasionally lift 100#, climb and work at 30' heights, ability to travel up to 300 miles and stay overnight 3-4 days per week. Knowledge or experience with wastewater and water treatment is a plus.
