We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our prestigious legal team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial real estate attorneys in a range of transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex commercial real estate transactions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including documentation, due diligence, closing and post-closing activities for real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
2. Review and analyze complex legal documents such as contracts, leases, loan agreements, and title documents.
3. Conduct title searches, examine title, and prepare initial title commitments and title exception documents.
4. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties in a professional manner.
5. Prepare and file legal documents with appropriate entities, such as local, state, and federal courts.
6. Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents, including contracts, leases, deeds, and other legal documents.
7. Coordinate and manage routine administrative work, such as opening matters, maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and preparing expense reports.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of commercial real estate law and transactions.
3. Proficiency in title examination and conducting legal research.
4. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research software.
8. Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited program is preferred.
9. Notary Public is an added advantage.
