As a Product and Services Representation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our cabinetry division. You will ensure that all samples are correct and serve as the primary contact between us and our clients—the builders. You will also suggest new materials and cabinet solutions, contributing to our legacy of superior quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires frequent travel and the use of a personal vehicle, with the office based in Rockland.
Primary responsibilities:
- Act as a representative of our products and services with corporate customers.
- Manage relationships with builders in their design centers.
- Ensure all product samples are accurate and up-to-date.
- Suggest new materials and cabinet solutions based on market research and customer needs.
- Conduct cabinet product research and development to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Provide detailed and timely reports on customer feedback and market trends.
- Maintain open and clear communication with team members and corporate clients.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer requirements are met satisfactorily.
- Organize and schedule meetings and presentations with clients.
- Exhibit flexibility and enthusiasm in representing our brand.
- Perform some manual labor tasks, including cleaning samples, labeling, wrapping, setting up, and organizing.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a related field, preferably within the cabinetry or construction industry.
- College diploma or university degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related discipline.
- Background in cabinetry, or design is desirable.
- Strong relationship management and customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and accountable for managing multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in project management and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organized and capable of managing schedules effectively.
- Proactive and enthusiastic representative of the company.
- Must have a car and be willing to travel frequently.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
