What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Quality Control Associate to bring their A game to help us save the world, one package at a time! The Quality Control Associate will be adaptable, diligent, and resourceful to ensure quality standards are met by inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, finished products; and recording the results.

What you will do:
  • Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
  • Inspect products in all production stages to ensure that they meet quality standards
  • Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards
  • Create tests for quality control of products
  • Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
  • Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions
  • Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records
  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
  • Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
  • Sort and segregate defective material for return, replacement, or disposal (scrap)
  • Provide daily hourly inspection within ISO9001 standard requirements
  • Provide Corrective Action and Root Cause Report; meet ISO9001 standards requirements
  • Keep measuring equipment by following operating instructions and calling for repairs and/or calibration
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production processes
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following standards/procedures and comply with legal regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed:
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 Years' experience maintaining QMS/ ISO900 standards requirements
  • Ability to use and read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
  • Possess basic high school math skills to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement
  • Advanced computer skills, use of a mouse, typing and basic applications preferred
  • Ability to read and follow instructions on master design documents or drawings
  • Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment in alignment with company culture and values
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
  • Bilingual - Spanish preferred
  • Forklift Certification is a plus
