Quality Control Lead

What you will do:
  • The Quality Technician is responsible for monitoring the operations to ensure that all quality standards are meet. The Quality Technician recommends adjustments to the assembly or production process to improve the overall efficiencies. The Quality Technician examines products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Read product profiles and specifications
  • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
  • Perform First Article Inspection
  • Inspect, measure materials or test products being produced
  • Accept or reject finished items
  • Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications
  • Discuss inspection results with Supervisor and Plant Manager
  • Report inspection, scrap, and test data
  • Weight parts to determine if they are within spec
  • Assist operations during CI events
Additional qualifications that will help you be successful in this role:
  • High School Diploma required and/or equivalent work experience
  • Requires a minimum of one to three years of related experience
  • Manufacturing background preferred
  • Data analysis
  • Ability to communicate test results to colleagues and work with team to troubleshoot problems
  • Team player that's energetic, reliable, persistent, inquisitive, and has a great work ethic to interact with all levels in the plant
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Able to work/collaborate with employees across various departments in completing work and achieving goals
  • Able to read & write English; stand for long periods of time & walk long distances
Travel:
  • Minimal travel 15% - May need to travel between locations on occasion.
