Linux Administrator

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Minimum of 8+ years of work experience as Linux Administrator in complex systems design, implementing and supporting systems software and infrastructure in a medium to large enterprise Experience with installing and configuring a wide range of software including server, operating systems, office production software, proprietary software, utilities, and other application specific software. •Detailed understanding of fundamental network protocols such as routing, TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, SSL/TLS, Firewalls, and HTTP •Extensive understanding of Client Serv ers (Dell, Client, Lenovo/IBM, or SuperMicro) including remote access, troubleshooting, booting, firmware, and configuration •Extensive experience with OS patching and patching tools (RPM, YUM, repos)

Experience with both Windows and Linux Experience with backup, restore and recovery models. Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) options. Experience working with and administering Active Directory. Experience with VMWare and virtualization technology. Experience with Data Storage (SAN/DAS). Experience with performance tuning and optimization (PTO) using native monitoring and other tools.

Salary Range: $77752-$95000 a year
