As a Global Quality Returned Material Authorization (RMA) Failure Analysis (FA) Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for preparing and testing materials, collecting data, and reporting on failures for DRAM.
You will prepare devices/equipment, pull debug diagnostics, and replicate customer environment and failures. You will work with various technical engineering groups to determine operational state of material and fail defects, and interpret failure data to summarize and track results.
You will perform System Level Testing (SLT) on DRAM modules, Automated Test Equipment (ATE) testing on DRAM components, and pretest on bench level testers of various configurations.
You will prioritize requests, schedule or request new equipment, and coordinate vendor repairs. You will also handle documentation and provide training as needed.

A basic understanding of DRAM memory function and architecture Proven computer hardware and operating system knowledge Unix/Linux user commands - highly valued Programming/scripting background a plus Experience with soldering, PCB rework. Self motivated with a strong work ethic Dedication to technical growth Excellent time and project management skills Good communication and organization skills Ability to work flexible hours when needed Education desired:
Two-year industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; or equivalent military training and experience Experience desired:
2 year experience in any of the following: Automated test/debug equipment Hardware and Software configurations Semiconductor Manufacturing
