Company Bio: Our client is an innovative AI company that is transforming the consumer packaged goods industry by automating inventory management processes. Their cutting-edge technology streamlines operations, reduces waste, and enhances efficiency for businesses in the CPG sector. As they continue to grow and revolutionize inventory automation, they are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee a dedicated team of 20 professionals and drive operational excellence. This role reports directly to the CEO and Founder. Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the company, ensuring that all processes are efficient and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Lead and manage a team of 20 professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance. Collaborate closely with the CEO and Founder to develop and implement operational strategies that support business growth and scalability. Optimize operational workflows and implement best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency across the organization. Develop and maintain robust systems for tracking and analyzing key performance metrics, providing regular reports to the CEO. Manage the company’s resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, to ensure operational sustainability and growth. Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging AI and other technologies to streamline inventory management processes. Work with the product development team to ensure that operational capabilities align with product innovations and customer needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and suppliers. Qualifications: Proven experience as a COO or in a similar senior operational leadership role, ideally within the tech or CPG industry. Strong background in operational management, with a focus on process optimization and efficiency. Experience managing teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Familiarity with AI and technology-driven solutions for inventory management is highly advantageous.
