Description

Summary:

Responsible for the overall operational and strategic direction, administration and coordination of all activities within the Marketing division.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Hire, train, develop, measure performance, and discipline of division's leadership staff Develop, implement, execute, and achieve long and short-term divisional business strategies Formulate and operate within annual marketing plan, operating budget, and capital budget to accomplish goals and objectives Conduct ongoing analysis of financial reports to monitor the profitiablity and expenses of the division and take appropriate action by creating and implementing strategies and tactics to reduce cost and/or increase revenue Develop and implement staffing plans that provide divisional leadership appropriate labor to meet guest service and operational expectations Oversee development of player development program Establishes and maintains a consistent brand image throughout promotional materials, advertising, events, etc. Provides creative direction to marketing team in development of materials and promotions Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members Performs other duties as assigned Position Requirements

Qualifications

Five (5) years of progressive experience marketing and promoting in the Casino/Gaming industry, of which three (3) years must have been in a supervisory capacity Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience analyzing print and broadcast media products Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, be familiar with player tracking systems, CMS preferred, and the operation of standard office equipment Possess a personable and professional demeanor along with organizational ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be at least 21 years of age Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company Verify right to work in the United States Work Cards

Gaming Alcohol Awareness Food Handler Physical Requirements

Occasionally bend, squat, and crouch. Occasionally required to use hands for firm manipulation and reach with hands and arms above shoulder level. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Handle high levels of stress including deadlines, vendor discrepancies, employee and guest conflict and resolution.

Work Environment Potential Conditions

The work environment is characterized as an office setting, where computers and standard office equipment will be supplied and used as part of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The immediate work environment is smoke free; however a smoking environment does exist in the building. Work environments change with the development of any and all special events. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes holidays, and weekends.
