What You Bring to the Table

The Beck Group is searching for a detail-oriented Risk Analyst to join our team. The Risk Analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our construction projects. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with our teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Assist in conducting thorough risk assessments for new and ongoing construction projects. Identify potential risks related to safety, financial, operational, and regulatory factors. Maintain a comprehensive risk register. Collaborate with project managers, safety officers, and other stakeholders to address identified risks. Analyze data from various sources to identify trends and patterns in risk factors. Help prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management. Provide regular updates on risk status and recommend corrective actions. Creating and managing the prequalification criteria for evaluating subcontractors, including financial stability, safety records, technical capabilities, past performance, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Ensuring that all subcontractors complete the necessary prequalification documentation accurately and within the specified timeframes. Maintaining an up-to-date database of prequalified subcontractors, including relevant documentation and performance records. Identifying potential risks associated with subcontractors and implementing and enforcing Risk Controls to mitigate these risks. Ensuring that subcontractors comply with all legal, regulatory, and company-specific requirements, including insurance and bonding. Collaborating with project managers, teams, and other stakeholders to understand project-specific needs and requirements. Preparing reports on subcontractor performance and prequalification activities for senior management. Identifying opportunities to improve the prequalification process and implementing best practices. Staying updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure the prequalification criteria and process remain relevant and effective. Conducting internal training sessions for project teams and stakeholders on the prequalification process and criteria. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in risk analysis or a similar role, preferably in the construction industry. Physical Demands:

Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment; may lift and move up to ten pounds; constantly communicates with project teams, Beck employees, and external vendors; ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance.
