MAU is hiring an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for our client in Baltimore, MD.
As an EHS Manager you will be responsible for establishing standards and implementing measures to reduce employee injuries, accidents, and occupational illnesses while minimizing the environmental impact of our operations. The primary objective is to protect our employees and enhance facility safety, aiming for best-in-class performance through proactive prevention and fostering a culture that prioritizes safety, health, and environmental responsibility.

B Shift - 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Health, Engineering, Science, or a related field from an accredited institution Minimum of 5 years of combined Environment, Health & Safety experience, preferably within a manufacturing or chemical environment Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent relevant certification General Requirements
Must be available for on-call duties and maintain a flexible schedule based on EHS requirements Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to inspire confidence across all management levels, from executives to engineers, as a key leader in Vibrantz's Vision to Zero initiative Skilled in forming, leading, and motivating a high-performing team, embodying the principle that "Leaders Lead." In-depth knowledge and practical experience in safety and environmental management systems Essential Functions
Lead and guide site leadership in EHS performance, including conducting thorough assessments across all EHS elements Analyze safety and environmental metrics in-depth, applying technical expertise to drive improvements in site performance Serve as the EHS subject matter expert, overseeing Safety, Environmental, and World Class Manufacturing standards Collaborate across all levels of the organization to coach, train, and mentor Operations Leaders on safety program requirements and expectations Implement proactive safety and environmental programs to mitigate risks associated with manufacturing operations Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations for the operation Liaise with regional and peer site safety teams to lead initiatives, share best practices, and coordinate execution plans Facilitate local and corporate EHS audits and act as the site representative for governmental and agency inspections Oversee incident and injury reporting, ensuring timely investigations and follow-through on corrective actions Ensure the site hazard/risk analysis and observation programs meet requirements Develop and deliver a comprehensive EHS training strategy in partnership with cross-functional teams Manage and report key EHS metrics and KPIs for site performance tracking Stay updated on current regulations and legislation to maintain compliance
