Job Description Summary As a Supply Chain and Operations Management Co-Op at American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. ("AAM") you will be allowed the opportunity to work side-by-side our skilled professionals to assist in the operations of our organization. You will be assigned tasks and projects based on your educational level, current skills, targeted development opportunities in line with current business and projected needs.

Job Description

Support the Supply Chain functions of production, distribution and forecasting. Assist in maintaining customer websites and scheduling trucks. Implement layout and process flow improvements to the manufacturing processes. May require occasional data collection from the shop floor. This position will work in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Plex. Run daily reports, extracting data and maintaining data. Assist operations team with reporting and duties as needed. Other duties and projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain program (or closely related program) with a graduation date of May 2026 or later. • Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred. • Available to work 30-40 hours/week, year round while attending school. • Familiarity with basic supply chain principles required. • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Prior work/intern/Co-op experience in Supply Chain or Operations is preferred.
