Opportunity Overview :
We are looking for an Industrial Engineer at our Warrendale location.
What your day-to-day looks like:
Interpret engineering drawings into detailed manufacturing instructions Analyze nonconformances and provide instructions to technicians for rework & repair Participate in weekly production meetings with planning, project engineering and project management Provide work instructions to shop floor personnel and collaborate with project team, shop technicians, QC, QA, supply chain, and planning when issues arise Interface with SAP to access historical production performance data/metrics Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality cost performance What we need to see from you:
Manufacturing Engineering Background (3 years preferred) Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial preferred) Ability to read hardware drawings and electrical schematics Proficient in SAP or other equivalent ERP/MRP System Strong background in Excel and other Microsoft Office products Familiar with P-6 and/or Microsoft Project, Enovia, SharePoint and Power BI a plus Possess a strong safety mindset The ability to communicate clearly and professionally (verbal and written) Perform work independently with a sense of urgency Flexibility with work assignments and changing priorities and the ability to multi-task Be able to work 5 days/week in office Why Westinghouse?
