Description

Turion Space is seeking a structural analysis engineer to join our team in Irvine, CA. As an analysis engineer you will work closely with the Turion Space team to assist in the design, analysis, and testing of our DROID vehicles and different subsystems.

Key responsibilities Ownership of the system-level structural FEM Structural analysis of spacecraft structures using NX NASTRAN Bolted joint analysis, including of honeycomb panel inserts Produce quality documentation of your work Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Mechanical or Aerospace engineering degree 4+ Experience with Simcenter 3D or Femap, and NX NASTRAN Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) Must be able to obtain Secret an/or a TS/SCI clearance ITAR Requirements:
