Description
As Analysis engineer, you will provide technical leadership for software projects and lead software supplier management activities. You will also lead development, selection, tailoring and deployment of processes, tools and metrics.
Key Responsibilities Detailed Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of mechanical, structural, or systems engineering problems using analytical and simulation tools. Evaluate system performance, reliability, and safety. Modeling and Simulation: Develop and utilize models and simulations to predict system behavior under various conditions. Use software such as MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS, or similar tools for analysis. Design Support: Provide analytical support to the design and development teams. Analyze design proposals, validate system performance, and suggest improvements based on analysis results. Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and procedures to validate analytical models. Conduct tests and analyze results to ensure systems meet specifications and requirements. Documentation: Prepare comprehensive analysis reports, including findings, recommendations, and technical documentation. Ensure that all documentation is accurate and meets company and industry standards. Problem-Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to system performance and reliability. Implement corrective actions based on analysis and testing. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, systems engineers, and project managers, to address and resolve analysis-related issues. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in engineering analysis, with a focus on mechanical, structural, or systems analysis. Experience in aerospace or high-tech industries is a plus. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of analysis techniques and tools, including finite element analysis (FEA), dynamics, and simulations. Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS). Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance. Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in engineering analysis, with significant experience in aerospace or space technology sectors. Experience with spacecraft or satellite systems is a plus. Advanced Skills: Expertise in advanced analysis techniques and tools, including nonlinear analysis, thermal analysis, and optimization. Familiarity with high-precision testing and measurement techniques. Certifications: Relevant certifications in engineering analysis or related fields are a plus. Industry Experience: Extensive experience working in aerospace or space technology sectors, including understanding of the unique requirements and challenges associated with engineering analysis for space missions. Innovation: Demonstrated ability to drive innovation in analytical techniques and solutions, contributing to the development of cutting-edge space technologies. ITAR Requirements:
