We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bakery/Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with at least one year of professional experience. This role involves crafting a variety of baked goods and pastries from scratch, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation meet our high standards.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bakery/Pastry Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with at least one year of professional experience. This role involves crafting a variety of baked goods and pastries from scratch, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation meet our high standards.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Prepare a variety of baked goods and pastries, including but not limited to bread, cakes, tarts, cookies, and other desserts.
- Follow and improve upon recipes to maintain product consistency.
- Measure and combine ingredients according to recipes and ensure proper techniques are followed.
- Decorate baked items with precision, ensuring visual appeal aligns with our brand.
- Monitor inventory and manage ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings.
Requirements:
- Self-starter and can work with or without direct supervision
- At least 1 year of professional baking or pastry experience required.
- Culinary degree or equivalent training in baking and pastry arts preferred.
- Knowledge of a variety of baking techniques, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Can lift at least 50 pounds, ie. bags of flour and sugar, large trays of baked goods, etc.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work a changing schedule that can begin between 12am, 2am, or 3am.
