Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a QA Automation Tester for a CONTRACT ssignment with one of our premier Banking clients in Frisco, TX . Hybrid schedule 2x weekly onsite
Responsibilities :
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate web, mobile, and desktop applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and testing requirements. Execute automated test cases, analyze test results, and identify areas for improvement.
• Integrate automated testing processes into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
• Debug and troubleshoot test scripts to ensure accurate and reliable test execution.
• Perform regression testing using automation tools to verify system stability after updates.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, scripts, and results.
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified defects.
• Suggest and implement best practices for test automation and overall QA processes.
Required Skills :
• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SOAPUI. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of version controls systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills :
• Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
