Summary of This Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results oriented Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join the global Product Marketing team to support one of our key products - Payments and drive product enablement. As one of the fastest growing businesses in the company, our payments business is primed for growth at scale
In this role you will be instrumental in creating and executing on the product enablement content strategy for our payments business line and be a key driver of revenue growth in the business unit targeting SMB and large-scale businesses and software partners globally. Act as a subject matter expert on payments, supporting the sales and buyer's journey for our inside and channel sales teams and enabling them to drive success is key to the role.
The Product Marketing Manager will collaborate across the business working with product, marketing, commercialization, sales enablement and various other teams in executing the required strategies. This role will require a deep understanding of our product, sales journeys, competitors and what it takes to win customers and partners.
Responsibilities
- Pipeline progression - thorough understanding of the sales pipeline, sales journey and conversion rates at each stage of the sales journey
- Data and reporting - responsible for reporting on pipeline conversion rates and close rates to track product revenue. Measure and report on sales enablement efforts
- Sales enablement - Responsible for creating impactful and sales enablement related marketing materials including and not limited to product presentations, supporting playbooks, objection handling guides, supporting required sales training materials, battle cards, sales messaging, applicable email sequences and more
- Activation of marketing materials - Working cross functionally across marketing, sales and sales enablement to activate marketing materials, messaging, case studies and proof points to drive better results
- Feedback - Working closely with sales to better understand why we win and why we lose. Help refine the target audience, personas, campaign profiles and more while also identifying the right mix of product marketing materials.
- Develops and implements an effective product marketing plan for the most complex and unique products/product line, to showcase the value of TSYS products and capabilities in target markets.
- Develops and implements a detailed communications plan; ensures that messaging is clearly defined and consistently communicated internally and externally.
- Identifies target audience, articulates the value proposition and key business benefits, and helps influence product development based on this positioning. Provides input on new product market and consumer requirements to help define strategy and achieve business targets. Develops in-depth knowledge of consumer needs, key trends, and competitive landscape to influence product roadmap decisions.
- Develops collaborative, product messaging that differentiates TSYS products in the market and resonates with our clients. Works across the marketing team to provide content for website, collateral, press releases, media and industry analyst briefings, sales and channel training, online marketing, etc.
- Plans the end-to-end launch of new products and releases and helps drive cross-functional implementation of the go-to-market plan.
- Empowers the sales and account management teams by providing meaningful tools and resources to help them win customers and drive revenue. Partners closely with them to develop tools and strategies that they feel confident they can execute on. Develops compelling audience-specific messages and assets (product videos, customer success stories, demos, presentations, how-to guides etc.)
- Works with business development and product management to influence product developments and integrations based on changing market dynamics and emerging opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Relevant Experience or Degree in: Marketing or equivalent field from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- Typically a minimum of 10 years
- Experience in product marketing and/or product management in a B2B environment. Experience within a card issuing, issuing processor or related payments industry or in a similar FinTech industry preferred. Demonstrated success in launching and driving adoption of new products in a B2B environment.
- Master's Degree
- Marketing or equivalent field from an accredited university or MBA.
- Skills / Knowledge - Having broad yet in-depth expertise and unique knowledge, uses skills to set and ensure success of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways within environments and situations that are complex and difficult. Having ownership of a function, major account or matrix management responsibilities, uses knowledge to ensure success, strengthen relationships, expand the business through key initiatives, and lead matrix teams on complex projects. Barriers to entry such as technical committee and senior management review exist at this level.
- Job Complexity - Works on issue that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products, or technologies. Creates formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for the organization with key accounts, agencies, partners, vendors, and sales prospects.
