TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20010 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week Experience: 2-3 Years of Recent Experience in PICU License: Valid State License Required (Pending License Accepted with Proof) Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Ability to Rotate Shifts Every 3-4 Weeks - Comfortable with Every Other Weekend and Holiday Work - Child-Friendly Approach - Ability to Float within Scope to Meet Facility Needs - COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster (No Exemptions) Job Description: - Rotating shift schedule with accommodation of straight shifts if possible - Ensure every other weekend and holiday shifts are covered - Work in a Children's Hospital with Magnet, Teaching, & Level I Pediatric Trauma Center - Handle ratios of 1:3, ensuring adequate care per patient - Be prepared to meet facility needs and float to other critical care units as needed - Participate in pre-start modules prior to orientation (Minimum 20 Hours) - Observance of a non-smoking facility policy - Potential to work with patients of all ages in critical care positions - Orientation and training provided with specific start dates available Please ensure all compliance is met prior to the start date.
