TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Montgomery, Alabama, 36116 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Surgery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM, 12-hour Days, 36 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Strong Vascular and Neuro skill set Job Description: - Seeking a Vascular OR RN to join the team in a Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and a Primary Stroke Center. - Responsibilities include circulating in trauma (excluding burns), neuro, general, vascular, ENT, general, ortho spine, ortho (total joint experience required), Gyn, endovascular vascular, urology, robotics (for both general and neuro), plastics, breasts, and eyes. - Experience with robotics platforms, such as Robotic Mazor/DaVinci XI, is preferred. - Support on the unit includes an OR assistant, desk assistant, charge nurse, and team leaders for service lines. - Required to work with technology and equipment including EMR: Cerner, IV pumps: Plum 360, medication dispensing: Omnicell, and monitors: Spacelabs. - Requires taking buddy calls during the orientation period of 2 weeks on day shift. - Expected to participate in a weekend rotation and be on call one weekday and one weekend each month, with a 30-minute response time. - Must adhere to holiday expectations as per the contract. - The facility provides green scrub uniforms. Please note: The role accepts first-time travelers with at least 2 years of experience, though one-year experienced travelers will not be accepted.
