TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37205 Pay Information $1,922 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Not specified License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) encouraged Must-Have: BLS Certification Description: Join our dynamic oncology team Our unit has a capacity of 24 beds, including one lead-lined room for radiation isolation. We serve patients with a variety of diagnoses, including solid tumors (such as lung, breast, and colon), leukemia, lymphomas, myeloma, gynecologic malignancies (primarily ovarian and cervical), cancer symptom management, febrile neutropenia, uncontrolled pain, sickle cell anemia, hematologic diseases, post-operative mastectomy care, post-operative gynecological oncology, and medical/surgical overflow. Our patient demographic includes young adults to late adults (ages 18-60). Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6, supported by a core staffing plan that includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, patient care technicians, and nurse interns.
