You will care for patients diagnosed with solid tumors, including lung, breast, and colon cancers. Patients may also have leukemia, lymphomas, and myeloma. There are cases of gynecologic malignancies, primarily ovarian and cervical. Responsibilities include managing cancer symptoms and febrile neutropenia. You will handle cases of uncontrolled pain and sickle cell anemia. Experience with hematologic diseases is beneficial. The role includes post-operative care for mastectomy and gynecological oncology patients.
