TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required; Unit will accept first-time travelers License: NC or Compact License required in hand at time of start Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP Must-Have: - EPIC Experience - IV Start and Circulate skills - Experience with at least 400 births per month - Ability to recover C-sections Job Description: - Accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025, to get the unit through the holidays - 21 rooms/beds with patient ratios of 1:2 - Float within Women's Services - Work every other weekend - No block scheduling guaranteed - Orientation includes EPIC training, 2 days on unit, and 2 half-days in OR - Scrubs provided; only natural hair colors permitted - Experience with labor inductions, IUFDs, multiple drips (Pitocin, magnesium, insulin), preterm, multiple gestations, preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhages, circulating in OR, epidurals, nitrous oxide, and amnio infusions - Special equipment includes Epidural pumps, PCAs, Alaris pumps, fluid warmers - Utilize systems such as PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR - Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Floating within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby is possible - Complete non-billable modules and orientation pre-start and annually, with hours varying by specialty 26374388EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Change environments regularly to prevent burnout, maintaining enthusiasm and passion for your nursing career.
