TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27103 About The Position Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience License: NC or Compact license (Pending OK for submission, required at start) Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP Must-Have: - EPIC Experience - IV Start and Circulate - Ability to recover C-sections Job Description: - Accepts first-time travelers. - Labor and Delivery unit with a requirement of handling at least 400 births per month. - Must handle labor inductions, IUFDs, preterm, multiple gestations, preeclampsia, postpartum hemorrhages, and circulate in OR. - Experience with multiple drips such as Pitocin, magnesium, insulin; epidurals required. - Patient care for 14 weeks and above pregnancy in triage; 20 weeks and above in Labor & Delivery. - Resuscitation for pregnancies 22 weeks and above. - Labor and delivery occur in the same suite with 3 OR rooms/recovery. - Use of special procedures and equipment, such as epidural pumps, PCAs, Alaris pumps, fluid warmers, nitrous oxide, and amnio infusions. - Float within Women's Services when required. - Weekend work required every other weekend. - Strict compliance with scheduling guidelines; no block scheduling guaranteed. - Orientation includes EPIC training, unit orientation, and OR training. - Scrubs are provided. - Dress code requires natural hair colors. Note: Maximum of 7 days off allowed per request as long as it doesn't fall on a holiday. Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. No time off allowed during the first week of assignment due to orientation.
