TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:30 - 14:00) Experience: Must have two years of experience within the last three years, including recent experience in recovering sedated GI and pulmonary procedures such as ERCP, EUS, EGD, colonoscopy, endoscopy/bronchoscopy. Must be able to perform moderate sedation and manage all levels of care, including PACU/Phase I and Phase II recovery. License: Must have a valid nursing license from the state or a compact license from the permanent address state. Certifications: BLS and ACLS certified through American Heart Association Must-Have: Basic Arrhythmia experience Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care for patients undergoing GI and Bronchoscopy procedures, including the administration of sedation. The role is an integral part of a surgical team that performs multispecialty procedures. The nurse will assume overall responsibility for the management of the operating room to which they are assigned. This position requires the flexibility to float to multiple units, depending on staffing needs. The nurse must demonstrate the ability to perform moderate sedation and manage pre/post-procedure care, including recovery stages. This opportunity is in a Magnet-designated facility, recognized as a leading hospital and teaching institution.
