TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Santa Clara, California, 95051 About The Position Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Critical Care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts from 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: - 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License: - Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program - Level III Neonatal Intensive Care experience Must-Have: - ACLS certification Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards. - Monitor and support critically ill newborns. - Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans. - Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and provide updates to patients' families. - Maintain a sterile environment and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. - Engage in continuous education and training to stay current with best practices in neonatal care. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field. - Seven years of recent experience in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care (within the last ten years).
