Position Summary:
SK pharmteco (SKPT, the Corporation) is a U.S. - based global Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that consolidates the operations of sites worldwide - Korea, France, Ireland, and the United States (CA and PA). SK pharmteco, Cell and Gene US is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. The primary focus of this role will be to coordinate the communication and flow of materials and documents through Warehouse Operations (including but not limited to Receiving Operations and Warehouse Requests), ensuring a continuous flow of materials.  A specific focus will be placed on any materials or processes on hold due to external influences, assuring they are resolved promptly. This role plays a key part in maintaining the smooth operation of warehouse activities and ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing timelines.
This is an ON-SITE role in King of Prussia, PA and/or Malvern, PA.

Primary Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Coordination:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding expedited Receiving Requests as well as coordination of Warehouse Requests, ensuring clear communication and swift resolution of issues.
  • Track the flow of materials and documents through the warehouse, ensuring that any delays or issues are addressed in a timely manner to avoid disruption to production.
Issue Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve issues that cause materials to be placed on hold, collaborating with relevant departments (e.g. MDM, Planning, Purchasing, Quality) to ensure issues are cleared promptly.
  • Work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies related to incoming shipments or warehouse processes.
  • Address any documentation issues (e.g., missing or incomplete paperwork) that may delay the movement or processing of goods within the warehouse.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager as necessary to prevent prolonged disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of all hold-related issues, resolutions, and related correspondence for auditing and reporting purposes.
Communication and Reporting:
  • Facilitate communication between Warehouse Operations, End-User, MDM, Purchasing, and Quality to ensure seamless material flow and minimize delays.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of material holds, including expected resolution timelines and actions taken.
  • Supply information on recurring issues, identifying patterns and suggesting improvements to reduce hold occurrences in the future.
Continuous Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements that can streamline warehouse activities and increase operational efficiency.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to management regarding potential improvements in workflow.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to implement process changes or enhance warehouse functionality.
Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure all materials are handled in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all applicable pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Support audits or inspections related to warehouse operations, particularly regarding materials on hold or awaiting resolution.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and document management.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations such as cGMP and FDA guidelines is preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to interact effectively with internal teams.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in documentation and inventory management.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical skills to track and report on warehouse and receiving issues and trends.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a warehouse and office environment, including sitting, standing, walking for periods of time and occasionally lifting products up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work with warehouse systems, equipment, and other tools in a fast-paced environment.
