Job Summary

The Java Developer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web-based software and APIs through thorough testing. This role focuses on performance, functional, and automation testing, working within an agile/scrum environment. The candidate will contribute to building high-quality, scalable applications while collaborating with various development teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements.

•Create and maintain detailed test plans and test cases, and execute them based on established QA methodologies.

•Perform manual and automated testing, documenting results and identifying defects.

•Automate test cases to increase testing efficiency without compromising quality.

•Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies and contribute to team velocity and quality improvements.

•Design, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.

•Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations to improve performance and scalability.

•Adhere to industry performance testing standards, ensuring robust testing for high availability products.

•Work collaboratively with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects during the SDLC.

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree (preferred in Business, Technology, or Accounting).

•3-6 years of experience in testing web-based products (UI, DB, and APIs).

•Proficient in testing tools like Quality Center, Azure DevOps, Jira.

•Knowledge of SQL queries and experience with REST APIs and Soap APIs.

•Proficient with Postman and Swagger API Platform for API testing.

•Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JS or JQuery for UI testing.

•Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies.

•Familiarity with version control systems like GIT, VSTS, or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

•Performance testing experience with JMeter or LoadRunner.

•Experience with CI/CD integration in the testing pipeline.

Education: Bachelors Degree
