The IT Intern will provide support to the IT team by assisting in troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining hardware and software, and ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems within the organization. This internship provides hands-on experience and an opportunity to work on real projects, gaining practical skills in a professional environment.
Essential Job Functions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Essential Job Functions
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support IT team members in daily tasks such as system maintenance, backups, and updates.
- Help set up and configure computers, mobile devices, and other tech equipment.
- Monitor system performance and report any anomalies to the IT team.
- Maintain inventory records for hardware, software, and IT supplies.
- Document IT processes and maintain user guides or support documents.
- Support IT-related onboarding for new hires, such as setting up accounts and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members on IT projects, such as network upgrades and software installations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and IT protocols.
- Performs other duties as necessary.
- Currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- No prior experience required; however, familiarity with basic IT concepts is a plus.
- Internship experience or relevant coursework is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and macOS.
- Knowledge of common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and network basics.
- Skilled in problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Skilled in communicating technical information effectively to non-technical users.
- Skilled in documenting processes accurately and maintain records.
- Skilled in time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to work independently when required, taking initiative on tasks and projects.
