The Business Development Representative will have the following responsibilities:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a dynamic role within the sales division. Success in this role is achieved through generating new business opportunities for Bespin US. BDRs are responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads, setting the stage for our sales team to close deals. Using various methods such as cold calling, emailing, networking, social media, and business related events, BDRs identify potential customers and connect them with our solutions.
Responsibilities
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Prioritize leads from multiple sources
- Hunt for potential new clients through multiple channels (cold calling, email)
- Introduce Bespin US's products and services to potential clients
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products/services
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Arrange meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales Team
- Stay informed about new products/services pricing/payment plans and the cloud industry
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of professional experience, with 2+ years working in a cloud-related BDR role
- Practical experience with various sales techniques, including cold calling
- Demonstrated success in scheduling prospective customers with sales executives resulting in closed deals
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Proficiency in MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Solid understanding of sales performance metrics
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations
- Strong knowledge and experience in the cloud industry
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct or indirect SaaS, professional and managed services, and/or cloud sales experience
- Understanding of CSPs' key programs such as AWS MAP.
- Strong project management experience with organizational and analytical skills
