Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Equipment Supervisor to join our team at Lawson Rigging & Fabrication. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in millwright work and experience in supervising crews. About the Job:

This role involves directing and supervising the work of a crew of one or more trades, ensuring a safe working environment, and promoting growth and advancement within the team. Responsibilities: Directs and supervises the work of a crew of one or more trades. Takes personal responsibility for fostering a safe workplace following safety policies and procedures. Train others in Millwright's job duties and encourage their growth and advancement. Inspects work for compliance with company quality standards. Operate construction equipment such as forklifts, man lifts, hoisting equipment, excavating equipment, etc. Receive, unload, stage, organize, and inventory project materials, machinery, and equipment. Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Fabricates assembles, erects, and installs structural systems to support and/or access equipment, machinery, and other structures. Dismantles machinery or equipment, using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and other hand tools. Moves machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks. Assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails, with hand tools, and power tools. Aligns and positions machines and equipment, using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, lasers, and plumb bobs. Tests machines and equipment and makes necessary adjustments. Using hand and power tools, assembles machinery and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to the foundation or other structures. Repairs and lubricates machinery and equipment. Selects cables, ropes, chains, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves, according to weight and size of load to be moved. Attach load grappling devices, such as loops, wires, ropes, chains, and crane hooks. Sets up, braces, and rig hoisting equipment, using hand tools and power wrenches. Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED. Ten or more years of Millwright experience. Three or more years of Millwright Foreman experience. Industrial machine experience (such as a forklift). NCCCO Operator Certification preferred. NCCCO Rigger Certification is preferred. Current OSHA 10 or MSHA Certification preferred. TWIC card preferred. Welding certifications preferred Working Conditions:

This role requires working in various conditions, including: Exposure to fumes, dust, or other airborne particles. Exposure to loud noises. Exposure to extreme heights. Working from barges on inland marine facilities. Position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and vibrating machinery. Benefits:

This position offers a competitive salary of $35 per hour and benefits, including health insurance after 90 days and an IRA after 180 days. How to Apply:
