is looking for a Computer Scientist - Intermediate. Background: In support of DISA TEC II Unified Instrumentation, performs professional assignments in the general area of computer hardware, software, and firmware such as: computer system protocol analysis, computer operations, programming, database structuring and management, and Test and Evaluation (T&E) of C5ISR, Automated Information Systems (AIS), and Information Technology and National Security System (IT/NSS). Requirements and Qualifications: Demonstrates familiarity in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Work requires thorough knowledge of recent developments and technologies in the specialty area, as well as proficiency in high-level languages. Defines system requirements based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms. Designs new solutions or recommend improvements to existing implementations. Responsible for designing and developing technical standards and functionality tests for new capabilities. Responsible for the development of specifications, prototypes, or initial user guides. Responsibilities may include specific software code development and maintenance, and the development, documentation, and maintenance of test automation in accordance with quality assurance standards. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a project leader, supervisor, or manager. Must be adept at problem-solving, identifying risk, and communicating results and recommendations. Performs other related duties as assigned. Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field. 2 years of experience. Related certifications may be substituted for 1 year of experience; to include but not limited to:
DAWIA Test and Evaluation Level 1/2/3 ENG Level 1/2/3 CTEP Applicable U.S. Federal or DoD school training and certification on related system, network, or technology.
Experience working in the Agile Development Process Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Successful experience working in a team environment. Security Clearance:

The contractor is responsible for conducting business while the facility is open, between the hours of 0800-1630 Monday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.
