Production Scheduler
initiates work and ensures uniform work flow through multiple departments based on manufacturing resource planning (MRP) requirements. Please Note: The schedule for this position are as follows; Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-8:30pm CST, rotating Saturdays (Once training is complete) Responsibilities
Creates shop packets and routings to define and measure work in multiple fabrication work centers according to customer sales orders and Assembly Part Number (APN) requirements
Monitors dispatch reports and communicates work orders to department management and downstream customers Works with schedulers to meet assigned work center requirements Monitors schedule attainment and department workflow Creates shop floor packets based on APNs from dispatch reports and daily packet runs; pulls needed drawings Maintains dispatch list comments fields Reviews two-week shortage report and non-assembly report for production shortages by job Monitors accelerate/slide report for APN cancellations and changes; reviews with management and corrects as instructed Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience with manufacturing planning and scheduling Computer skills including MS Office; intermediate Excel skills proficient with tables, charting, pivot tables, and v-lookups Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines Team-oriented and collaborative Self-motivated Job Posting Min Salary
