Job Description
- Provide advanced desktop support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Manage system installations, configurations, testing, and maintenance.
- Administer Office 365, user management, and security.
- Implement backup, security, and redundancy strategies.
- Report on project status and achievements to management.
- Optimize server resources for high availability.
- Automate processes using scripting technologies.
- Install, configure, and document IT systems and software.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure timely patching and compliance with data regulations.
- Enforce device security and user access policies (Intune, Azure AD).
- Improve cybersecurity and infrastructure resilience.
- Maintain incident response and business continuity plans.
- Support remote staff and facilities.
- Respond to infrastructure outages and security incidents.
- Stay updated on new technologies.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is a skilled IT professional with expertise in system administration, Office 365, backup strategies, and device management (Intune, Azure AD). They excel in troubleshooting, automating processes, and ensuring system security, compliance, and high availability. Strong communication skills, experience supporting remote teams, and a proactive approach to cybersecurity and infrastructure resilience are key to success in this role.Highly experienced IT professional with certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, or MCSE, and extensive hands-on experience managing both Azure and On-Prem Active Directory environments.
They possess deep knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, Endpoint Manager, Intune, enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and network security, with a proven ability to deploy and manage enterprise-level infrastructures. Proficient in Azure PowerShell and network devices (switches, routers, firewalls), the candidate also has a solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, VPN, and network security practices, and familiarity with AWS administration is a plus.
