Job Description
Superlanet is currently recruiting for a Network Engineer to support a healthcare organization in Coachella Valley, CA. This is a direct hire opportunity that is onsite. The Network Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, implementation and support of Corporate and client Cisco LAN/WAN in the areas of VPN, VoIP, Internet Connectivity, Network Security, and wireless. It is responsible for looking across all network infrastructures (WAN, Internet, LAN, Remote Access, Security) within assigned client organizations to design, standardize, optimize and implement network and telecommunications services; utilizing the voice, data and multimedia technologies.
Requirements
Required: 5 years' experience supporting enterprise grade networks as a network engineer - 8 years required if no associates degree for higher payscale
Certification:
Preferred: Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) or equivalent networking certification for higher pay scale, or Palo Alto Firewall Administration PCNSE Certification
Preferred:
CCNP or equivalent
Specific Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Required: •Interact with various staff, including front line staff, management and administration in a multi-tasking, deadline oriented, customer-service team environment •In depth technical skills for
Cisco networking equipment
including CLI, Prime, Location tracking, Wi-Fi controllers, Wi-Fi access points, Cisco IOS - multiple versions, EIGRP •Telepresence or Voice experience is helpful •Data Center and core networking advanced skills
Bonus: experience in Palo Alto - Edge exposure (not required)
Bonus: experience in NetScaler (not required)
Bonus: experience in AWS, Cloud experience, Azure experience (not required) - due to large cloud project initiatives
Benefits
The range below is based on the market rate and is contingent on the organization's requisition and qualifications of the candidate: 60k-97k
