Job Description •Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Director of Communications will help develop a comprehensive communications strategy that enhances the reputation of the Hospital, its physicians, programs and services •Work closely with Chief of Staff on executive communications, including speaking opportunities, media placements, speeches, bylines, as well as on internal communications •Coordinate press and media requests and serve as a facility spokesperson; coordinate with Central office to ensure a message consistent with system strategy •Oversee story ideation, communication, and placement in broadcast, print, and digital media •Draft, edit, and distribute pitches, press releases, and other communications materials; Liaise with media on-site •Lead internal publication development from ideation to execution for monthly employee and community newsletters •Manage reporting and analytics for all communication efforts, delivering regular reports to senior leadership, and consistently looking for opportunities to improve and optimize •Work with freelance graphic designers to ensure graphic design projects are completed with high quality and on schedule •Work closely with the web team to manage the website content and ensure content is refreshed; oversee photography and video content as needed. •Other tasks as assigned by Chief of Staff

Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Relations, Journalism,Communications or a related discipline; and 2.Four (4) years of satisfactory experience executing communications strategies and designing andimplemented integrated communications plans, three (3) years of which must have been in aresponsible administrative, managerial or supervisory capacity; or 3.Satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. However, all candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in disciplines, as listed in "1" above.
