Network Integration Engineer

The C5ISR (Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Surveillance and Recon) System Engineer will provide systems engineering support for the design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, maintenance and continual enhancement for a variety of Army ground combat vehicle systems.
Essential Job Functions:
Lead a combined project team of government and contract employees located in many different locations while meeting directed delivery dates to meet fielding requirements
Identify, engineer, implement, and verify new designs and configuration of System Integration Benches, test hardware, cables and harnesses, etc. to enhance usability and maintainability
Provide electrical, mechanical and software support to Combat Vehicle system bench planning, design, development, and execution
Work in a team environment with our Army customer and DCS Engineers
Coordinate with government personnel to plan, coordinate and execute system bench activities
Maintain current system bench configurations and assets
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems encountered with system bench equipment and/or configurations
Develop Subject Matter Expertise on a variety of combat vehicle subsystems
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8 years of experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Experience with embedded, or on-board, vehicle computer systems such as Multi-Function Displays, Power Distribution and Management, Drivers Vision or SA Enhancement
Familiar with Systems Engineering and Software Engineering processes
Experience with one or more of the following: LabVIEW, CAN Bus, MIL-STD 1553, Ethernet, Serial Bus Interfaces
Familiar with DoD C4ISR Systems such as: BFT, SINCGARS, WIN-T and/or familiar with Network Operations or Tactical Intranet
Familiar with military communications equipment for Ground Combat Vehicles
Ability to travel to various customer and contractor facilities and test centers (10% Travel)
Desired Skills:
Experience with US Army Ground Combat Vehicle System Electronics Hardware and Software
Experience in Information Assurance, Computer Security, Risk Management Framework for Ground Combat/Military Systems
