This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring all equipment and machinery are functioning at optimal levels at all times. This includes but is not limited to hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, and Allen Bradley PLC systems. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team on a daily basis, ensuring all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. Oversee the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, PLC, Allen Bradley, VFD and boiler systems. Implement and maintain HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards and procedures, ensuring all operations are compliant with industry regulations. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any potential issues or improvements in machinery or processes. Manage maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and materials. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required, implementing effective solutions to minimize disruption to operations.Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry. Proven experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, PLC, Allen Bradley, VFD and boiler systems. Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards and regulations. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and mentor a team. Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
