Electrical Designer - Vancouver
Join a team of forward thinking, enthusiastic, results-driven and collaborative professionals.

We're looking for an experienced Designer/Drafter to support our mission and to join our team in Vancouver.

What does this role involve?
  • Complete detailed design of equipment and plant layouts from sketches or specification outlines in the mechanical field under direction of engineers or a supervising design drafter.
  • Knowledge of ACAD 3D modelling
  • Participate in the review of designs and advise on technical drafting difficulties or compliance requirements as appropriate.
  • Comply with the Change Management process for engineering design.
  • Upkeep of drawing list and percentage complete status.

Quality Management
  • Participate in the development and continuous improvement of the Quality management process and system.
  • Understand Sedgman standard specifications and typical/standard drawings to reflect current industry standards.
What are we looking for in our future team member?
Qualifications:
  • Associate Diploma in CAD / or any other formal training certificates.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in design/consultancy environment.
  • Discipline based AutoCAD product usage.
  • Experience in heavy industry environment.

Salary Range 70,000 - 110,000
