Smart people with a passion for technology Ability to solve challenging business problems Self-directed professionals Hunger to continually learn and grow IPT is seeking talented Information Security Analysts to support our work at the Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Army Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal, AL. Cybersecurity expertise is required to support the continuing authorization of the AvMC network. This support will be a matrixed individual for supporting our Risk Management Framework (RMF) efforts for Onboarding of systems into an existing accredited network.
*Please note that the AvMC positions come with varying degrees of remote/on-site support at the discretion of the customer*
Responsibilities:
Perform the supporting technical role and actions necessary to support and participate in the Cybersecurity authorization of networks and systems. Collect, develop, document, and enforce cybersecurity controls, policies, procedures, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) settings IAW the new systems architectural requirements. Provide one on one support to customer base and answer technical cyber questions. Guide new customers through the RMF process that is applicable to the architected solution. Provide one on one support to customer base and answer technical cyber questions guiding new customers through the RMF process that is applicable to the architected solution. Extreme multi-tasking will be needed. Expect to be tracking at least five onboarding packages at the same time. Possess the skillset to thoroughly explain organizational cybersecurity requirements and document the deviations of those requirements. Review network diagrams and recommend boundary protection mechanisms to lower the risk exposure. Review vulnerability and compliance scans of information systems hardware and software, review and work with organizational teams to recommend remediation for security flaws and configuration issues. Possess the skillset of how to explain cybersecurity requirements and document the deviations of those requirements. Review network diagrams and recommend boundary protection mechanisms to lower the risk exposure. Review vulnerability and compliance scans of information systems hardware and software, review and work with organizational teams to recommend remediation for security flaws and configuration issues. Disseminate and maintain standard operating procedures and processes to assist with RMF lifecycle and implementation, including tracking cybersecurity compliance within a Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M). Perform vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses and provide recommendations of solutions to mitigate and/or remediate the findings in a detailed report verbally presented to leadership. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in related field Excellent communication and organizational skills Eight (8) years of prior experience in a similar role DoD 8570 Level II/III certification desired Active Security Clearance required
