Receptionist

PAREXEL's Early Phase Clinical Unit is adding a receptionist to their team. This is a highly visible role that greets and handles day to day administrative tasks. Please continue reading if you are interested in this position:
Shift requirements: 100% onsite at the MedStar Harbor Hospital no remote work. Monday - Friday 8.5 hour shift with a 30 minute break (start varies between 7:00am - 8:00am).
Key Accountabilities:
- Answer and Transfer calls, screen calls and take messages.
- Greet visitors (clients/vendors) with a professional and positive attitude and in line with the security procedures.
- Coordinate transport/taxi arrangement for Parexel visitors and volunteers.
- Assist with schedule of activities (working plan)
- Coordinate the booking of all meeting rooms and shared facilities.
- Coordinate the catering for internal or external meetings of staff and visitors as required by the various departments.
- Monitor overall performance with respect to high quality standards.
- Provide administrative support as needed
- Submit and manage helpdesk requests.
- To maintain effective and professional conduct of the main reception function and switchboard services.
- Ensure smooth running of reception desk
- To effectively procure and manage the use of office supplies and stationery.
- Parking Space Assignment / Parking Arrangements
- Maintain a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner
- Follow visitor and guest protocol and procedures
- Support the facility manager as requested

Experience:
- 2-3 years experience working in an administrative position
- Prior experience working in a medical setting (hospital or office) preferred
- Education: minimum High School Diploma
