Director of Nursing- Relocation to Northern WA THIS OPPORTUNITY IS IN NORTHERN WASHINGTON WOULD REQUIRE RELOCATION (PAID RELOCATION) *Confidential application process* Overview One of our top clients seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and skilled leader with a strong background in long-term care. The DON will oversee all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and the development of a positive and supportive work environment. Responsibilities:

Leadership:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the nursing department. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff. Develop and implement effective staff training and education programs. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and mentoring.

Clinical Excellence:

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care. Develop and implement comprehensive care plans. Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including CMS and state regulations.

Operational Efficiency:

Manage the nursing budget and resources effectively. Implement cost-effective strategies to improve operational efficiency. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations. Oversee the documentation and record-keeping processes.

Quality Improvement:

Identify opportunities for quality improvement and implement corrective actions. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Monitor and analyze quality indicators.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct regular audits and surveys. Develop and implement emergency preparedness plans.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in good standing. Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in long-term care, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare technology. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
